Southern Africa
Where it all began - Kruger's dusty roads, Madikwe's golden mornings, the Kalahari's endless skies.
This is where I learned that photography isn't about the camera - it's about patience, presence, and the privilege of witnessing moments that few will ever see.
Kenya & Tanzania
The great theatre of East Africa - where the horizon stretches forever and drama unfolds on a scale that humbles you
From Amboseli's elephant families to the Mara's river crossings, these are the places where instinct meets opportunity, and every frame feels earned.
These galleries hold the encounters that shaped two decades behind the lens - moments of connection that continue to draw me back to Africa's wild heart.

About Me
Born in Hartlepool in England's North East, I've been fortunate to travel widely — but a 40th birthday trip to South Africa changed everything.
That journey sparked a lasting connection with the African bush and a move to South Africa in 2010.
Weekends were spent on dirt roads and game drives — Kruger, Madikwe, Pilanesberg — chasing light and learning what it meant to truly see. Since returning to the UK, I've continued seeking wild encounters across Africa and beyond, with a growing focus on Britain's wild places closer to home.
I'm a self-taught photographer and qualified member of the Guild of Photographers. My approach is rooted in patience, light, and presence — learning to observe and photograph with minimal intrusion.
